Data we process
GuideBlink stores account details, your normalized expertise text, tone-of-voice examples and instructions, generated content, credit and payment records, and public-guide analytics. Raw reference uploads are processed in memory and not retained after text extraction.
Academy purchases and analytics
For an Academy checkout, GuideBlink stores the name and email you submit, your assigned page variant, referral and UTM parameters, consent choice, Stripe checkout and payment references, payment status, lesson-email delivery state, and first-party funnel events. For a manual Academy add-on, GuideBlink also stores the service scope you purchased, fulfillment status, and the offer, audience, draft links, source-material links, evidence, goals, and scheduling context you submit through the private intake. Payment-card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by GuideBlink. Academy worksheet answers and progress are stored only in your browser unless you choose to send them through the service intake or to support. Tokenized private Academy pages do not load the Meta Pixel. On public Academy pages and non-tokenized payment confirmation pages, the Meta Pixel loads only after you allow optional ad measurement; declining does not disable first-party funnel analytics or the product.
Recipient-specific links
A guide creator can label a personal guide link with a recipient name, optional LinkedIn profile URL, and private note. When that link loads in a visible browser, GuideBlink records the time and a one-way visitor fingerprint derived from network and browser data so the creator can see confirmed and deduplicated opens. If the visitor voluntarily completes the gated form, GuideBlink associates that submission with the recipient link used to reach the guide. A personal link with a LinkedIn profile does not ask the visitor to re-enter a name or email address; it associates any submitted question answers with that link and does not show those questions again for the same LinkedIn profile and Guide. GuideBlink filters recognized preview crawlers and does not expose the private label or note on the public guide.
AI providers
Generation inputs are sent to configured AI providers to produce the service. Never upload secrets or confidential client information you are not authorized to process.
Lead forms and email
A standard gated Guide shares the visitor’s submitted name, email, consent, and creator-defined answers with the Guide creator. When a personal link already contains a LinkedIn profile, the form instead shares consent and submitted answers associated with that recipient link. Academy lesson and add-on confirmation messages are sent after a verified purchase. Optional reminders and promotional follow-ups require the checkbox consent shown at checkout, and every Academy sequence provides an unsubscribe route.
Your choices
You can edit or remove reference text and voice examples, unpublish guides, pause recipient links, decline optional ad measurement, unsubscribe from Academy email, update a manual-service intake, and contact support@shortsblink.com about account or purchase data.
